New journal just to replace the old one... woah lol

This is actually old news, but besides work I'm currently working on manga for :iconkisekimanga: on which I have to submit a chapter on 2 months basis.

I submit a manga by title of 'OMEGA'
Taken from one of story idea I have before, listed in my old comic's timeline as 'Song of Green'.
I changed the setting to futuristic to make it more interesting and also changes some stuff to cover the plot hole and finalize things more than the old 'vague' idea.

This is my first time making comic in this sort of setting, it really scares me and also quite refreshing to do something different once in a while.
There're mistakes I think since I'm kinda a noob in this kind of setting, but everyone has to start somewhere, right? ;)

So, please visit Kiseki on the deviant art account :iconkisekimanga: or straight to their website: [link]

Even if you're not in the mood for supporting me, don't worry! There are many other artists in higher caliber than me and you can support them! XD

And ... lots of love to Hetalia group for Manifest!
Everyone is super awesome and I can't wait for Manifest to come ^^

I just make this journal because the previous one is already too rotten to stay in there.

The good news are I get a proper job now and it's in my field (animation)
The bad news are it's still the same old situation with my master at AIM days, overtime all the time possibly even to the weekends lol. Really animation is not a job you choose for money and easy time in life, you have to love it to survive in it and your life will be 25f/sec.

I'm so freakin used to hand-drawn (flash hand drawn) frame by frame loose animation that now adjusting to complicated cut-out style animation is freakin difficult. It sends me in the brink of tearing my hair everytime during the training period. Like you have to change your habit and your way of thinking from what you used to be in frame by frame in able to do well in cut-out. And that insane amount of layers... holy sh#t!

That being said, it made me want to make frame by frame fananimation for hetalia, let's hope I find time for it hahaha XD

Some random stuff:
- I think I'm addicted RP-ing at :iconst-theresa:
- cosplay for 2009 should be:

Yorda (ICO)
mono (shadow of the colossus)

from the best game developer in the world~~ XD and these are to be worned pairing up with other fans who will cosplay ICO and Wanda.

Miakis (suikoden v)
Lockon Stratos pilot suit and casual (gundam 00)

- I'm so freakin tired! XD

Manifest has passed and here's my report.
Okay personally I had funs because I was doing photoshoots with 'Hikaru'/Ben on Saturday and Friday. Most people thinks this year Manifest sux and I understand why. No, the line wasn't as bad as last year but maybe because I get my badge on Friday when the line is not so massive. Screening is not my thing so I didn't know until someone mention the screening disaster at Manifest this year. What other things I notice is the program book wasn't ready on time and lack of other entertainments (like band and traditional stuff)
To cut it short, yes Manifest this year is bad.
I'll still go next year bec it's in Melbourne.
I did have some funs with my cosplay stuff and meeting others but it's not exactly actual part of Manifest.

As with cosplay, 'Hikaru' did an excellent job, but I didn't. In other words my face is at the crappiest state. My zombie eyes are getting worse from stress and tiredness (thanks to animation master course + part time jobs) and I'm so freakin UNDERWEIGHT! NO I'm not dieting (never!) and I eat a LOT, even during my mother stay in Australia (3 months) where she cooked excellent food and less work (much less) for me, my weight still doesn't get back to normal. My metabolism rate must but getting out of control somehow -__-;

And Manifest will move to new venue in 2009? NOOOOOO~~~ I need the background for my possible ICO and Shadow of the Colossus photoshoot~!!!! TAT

I'll post the photoshoot photos soon. Also, since my animation project took all my free time, here's a little something in topic of Manifest and animation:

Doujicon 2008 report

Doujicon has just passed.
I was excited it's going for 2 days this year, but counting my hours I only enjoyed half of it since I kept coming late lol
I rushed in the last week before Doujicon to make an extra 20 pages for my comic, 'ECHO'. I know I should have done it during my break earlier, but due yo my laziness, Odin Sphere and my I-don't-want-to-touch-computer-for-a-while sickness I leave it to the last a week and a half.

So it's a deja vu once more, I stayed awake for 2 days with only 1 hour sleep trying to get my ECHO booklet done. I rushed to Doujicon and arrived around 1 (talk about late!) I looked like zombie and I don't even sure what I was doing. *__*

I think I like last year venue better, it seems more spacious and brighter. There were not many general public this year, the one who bought stuff was usually the trader as well. Anyway, I forgot to bring my sketchbook during the confusion and chaos of trying to get ECHO booklet done, so I just sat on my table while my mind kept saying "I WANT TO SLEEP!" until my fren came.

The prints sales was horrible, only sold two. At first people who came to my table seemed to cringe on my price list, so I thought "is it too expensive?" After I walked around the venue I found out it's not expensive at all. There's even a table that sell a4 print for 10 dollar, my most expensive merchandise is 10 dollar as well, BUT it's my ECHO booklet (A5 BW comic with 60 pages and colour cover) ^^;

At second day, I brought my sketchbook. I did two quick drawings on pencil and gave it away to others who liked it. The first one was asking for commission, but I just gave it free bec I'm not confident and it's just a friendly gesture anyway. He tried to convinced me to do commission next time which is a one advice that I really want to consider for next time.

'Ayvah' from Oztaku told me about how much the pay for their booklet from Officework and it is CHEAP! How come when I ask the staff last time it came to such expensive prices? O_O;;
I need to find out more about this for next year lol
At the end I did manage cover the expenses for all the printing and buying the equipment and other stuff, which is good.

I think I should prepare some business cards for next year Doujicon.

I'm really look forward to get my new costumes, they're delayed for so long now I'm not sure I can get them in time for sydney animania and manifest *sob

OK, so let's look forward for this year doujicon... If i can have time making another short comic...
