Doujicon has just passed.
I was excited it's going for 2 days this year, but counting my hours I only enjoyed half of it since I kept coming late lol
I rushed in the last week before Doujicon to make an extra 20 pages for my comic, 'ECHO'. I know I should have done it during my break earlier, but due yo my laziness, Odin Sphere and my I-don't-want-to-touch-computer-for-a-while sickness I leave it to the last a week and a half.
So it's a deja vu once more, I stayed awake for 2 days with only 1 hour sleep trying to get my ECHO booklet done. I rushed to Doujicon and arrived around 1 (talk about late!) I looked like zombie and I don't even sure what I was doing. *__*
I think I like last year venue better, it seems more spacious and brighter. There were not many general public this year, the one who bought stuff was usually the trader as well. Anyway, I forgot to bring my sketchbook during the confusion and chaos of trying to get ECHO booklet done, so I just sat on my table while my mind kept saying "I WANT TO SLEEP!" until my fren came.
The prints sales was horrible, only sold two. At first people who came to my table seemed to cringe on my price list, so I thought "is it too expensive?" After I walked around the venue I found out it's not expensive at all. There's even a table that sell a4 print for 10 dollar, my most expensive merchandise is 10 dollar as well, BUT it's my ECHO booklet (A5 BW comic with 60 pages and colour cover)

At second day, I brought my sketchbook. I did two quick drawings on pencil and gave it away to others who liked it. The first one was asking for commission, but I just gave it free bec I'm not confident and it's just a friendly gesture anyway. He tried to convinced me to do commission next time which is a one advice that I really want to consider for next time.
'Ayvah' from Oztaku told me about how much the pay for their booklet from Officework and it is CHEAP! How come when I ask the staff last time it came to such expensive prices? O_O;;
I need to find out more about this for next year lol
At the end I did manage cover the expenses for all the printing and buying the equipment and other stuff, which is good.
I think I should prepare some business cards for next year Doujicon.
